Cool & Dry Friday
Cool and pleasant are great adjectives to describe your Friday forecast. Highs today will top out around 60 for most of us. A breezy east wind will make it feel cooler for most of us. Rain chances will return Saturday afternoon as a cold will push through our area, bringing scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Don’t cancel any events you have planned this weekend. Rainfall amounts will be light and the rain will only last about 30 mins for most of us. Afterwards, the coldest air of the year will settle into the deep south, after MLK Day. Expecting highs only in the upper 40s and lows in the middle/upper 20s for several days next week.
