Aly Raisman Won’t Compete In This Year’s Olympics
GYMNAST ALY RAISMAN ANNOUNCES SHE WON'T TAKE PART IN THE UPCOMING OLYMPICS
(CNN) – The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo will be missing a gold medal winning gymnast.
Aly Raisman announced she’s not going to compete in the event.
She plans to take some time off to reflect on her achievements.
Raisman announced on social media that she’s “lived a pretty fast-paced life” and that she has to remind herself “to slow down.”
Raisman also says she wants to make gymnastics safe for young females.
She suffered sexual abuse from USA gymnastics team physician Larry Nassar.
