A Chilly Thursday Night Leads to a Cool Friday

A cold front has passed through today so a much cooler night is in store as temperatures dip down into the mid 40s, but this is not the big cool down I’ve been telling you about. It’s coming.

It will be a cloudy start to Friday with the sunshine breaking through in the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s for most as the cooler air continues to filter in. It will also be a dry day for a change. Showers likely Saturday night into Sunday morning ahead of a much stronger cold front that will pass through Sunday. This is the front that will bring the frigid temps.

The much colder air moving in behind the front will knock daytime highs down into the 40s/50s and nighttime lows into the 20s/30s Sunday through at least the middle of next week. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings look to be the coldest with temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. Brrrr!
