Callaway Middle School Event Teaches Children Budgeting And Financial Responsibility

COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS OF GEORGIA OFFERS CHILDREN STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES AND DROPOUT PREVENTION

Tuesday an educational event gave local middle school students a chance to see how their decision making affects the future.

Callaway Middle School hosted the organization Communities In Schools Of Georgia for a budgeting and financial responsibility program.

CIS is the leading organization for student support services and dropout prevention in Georgia.

The Life University event asks students to take a survey.

Then, their results show students what their life might look like as a 26-year-old.

If a child said she disliked turning her homework in on time, the results would say she would have low credit score at age 26.

Life University has events in Muscogee County in April and May.
