Rain Friday, Storms Saturday
We begin a stretch of unsettled weather with the threat of severe storms Saturday afternoon into the evening. A strong low pressure system developing out of Texas is anticipated to move up into the Great Lakes region while slinging a cold front through our area triggering strong to severe storms. Damaging winds up to 70 mph and tornadoes will be the main threats. Localized flooding will also be a concern as there will be times of heavy rainfall.
We’ll get a bit of a break Sunday before that cold front lifts back through the region as a warm front by Monday bringing more rainfall to the area to start next week. Daytime highs and nighttime lows will be staying well above seasonal through next week.
