Julian Castro Drops Out Of Presidential Race
JULIÁN CASTRO ENDS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN
(CNN) – Julián Castro is out of the 2020 Democratic presidential race.
The former housing and urban development secretary announced the end of his presidential campaign on Thursday via Twitter.
The Castro campaign appeared to be nearing the end for months, as the candidate struggled to raise enough money to keep up with his Femocratic opponents.
He was the only Latino in the running.
Castro served as the mayor of San Antonio, Texas for five years before joining the Obama administration.
