Cool, Wet, Start to Your Friday the 13th/Strong Storms Possible Monday Night into Tuesday Morning!
A cold, chilly, wet, start to your early Friday morning. Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue through 1100 AM. Afterwards, a small window of rain-free conditions are possible for a few hours before the next batch of rain/storms start to push in from the west around 4 PM. Rain ends Saturday morning with partly cloudy skies later on. Highs will range from the upper 50s through the middles 60s, Saturday through Sunday. Strong thunderstorms are possible Monday night thru Tuesday morning.
Monday setup will feature temperatures warming into the 70s with dew points in the 60s and ample shear for thunderstorms to form and ingest. One key ingredient that is lacking currently, is the right amount of instability or cape. Stay tuned for frequent updates on WLTZ Facebook/Twitter page on Sunday for the most accurate weather forecasts.
