Javion Cohen Announces Commitment to Alabama after conflicting Reports

FOUR STAR OFFENSIVE TACKLE OUT OF CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL COMMITS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA

Recruiting is a year round battle for college coaches and tough life decision for 17 and 18 year olds to make as they Decide where they will be spending the next three to four years of their lives.

Wednesday, was an eventful for Central Football’s four star offensive tackle Javion Cohen.

On Tuesday, Cohen took to twitter saying that he would be choosing between Auburn and Alabama.

He had been committed to Auburn since June, but on Tuesday, Jeffery Lee of Auburn rivals reported that Auburn was no longer extending their offer to Cohen ahead of the early signing period.

The 6’5 296 pound prospect took to twitter after that report to announce that he is committed to Alabama. He had an official visit there this past weekend.

WLTZ caught up with Cohen to get a comment and he replied… “I’m happy to be a part of the Crimson Tide, and I‘m ready to work.”

The early signing period begins Wednesday, December 12th.
