Rainy & Cold

A low pressure system will sling a cold front through the region Tuesday night into Wednesday bringing showers and isolated thunderstorms to our area. Chilled air filters in behind the front, so much colder highs and lows are on the way. Depending on how quickly the front passes through, Tuesday’s highs may hit around lunchtime then fall through the rest of the afternoon especially for areas northwest of Muscogee County.

If it gets cold enough, there could be a wintry mix in north Alabama and north Georgia Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. As ground temperatures will be warm enough, little to no accumulation is expected. No snow for us.

Another short wave will develop to our west and keep rain chances in our forecast Thursday through Saturday before a drier pattern takes hold Sunday into Monday. Daytime highs will warm back up to seasonal or a few degrees above normal Saturday into earl next week.

Thanks for checking in. Now get on out there and make it an awesome evening.

Keep smiling,
