Callaway Falls in the AA State Semifinal against Brooks County

Head Coach Pete Wiggins and the Callway Cavaliers fall short once again from punching their ticket to Callaway’s first ever state title game. It was a back and forth battle between Callaway and Brooks County, but the Trojans came out on top 39-35.

The Trojans jumped out to an early 20-0 lead in the first half, but Callaway senior Cartavious “Tank” Bigsby added a spark with a 70-yard touchdown run to the endzone. Five-star recruit Bigsby is an Auburn Tiger commit and the number one running back in the nation according to Quarterback Demetrius Coleman made a few clutch touchdown passes. His 41-yarder to Markus Morman helped close the gap at halftime 26-21.

Omari Arnold paved the way on the ground for the Trojans. The sophomore back is quick and agile, which helped send the Trojans to the state championship.
