The tornado in Jones County touched down in a heavily forested area and damage was confined to downed trees. Two tornadoes touched down in Putnam County. One of those also touched down in a heavily forested area putting down trees. Two hunters were trapped by the downed trees in Putnam County but were rescued unharmed. The other tornado in Putnam County rolled a mobile home over on its side, fortunately the occupant was uninjured.
