GM’S Electric Pickup To Go On Sale In 2021
GM SAYS IT WILL HAVE AN ELECTRIC TRUCK AVAILABLE IN TWO YEARS
(CNN) – The battle for electric trucks is heating up.
GM says it will have an electric pick-up truck ready for market by the fall of 2021.
That announcement was made during an investor meeting Thursday, but was quickly overshadowed by Tesla’s reveal of its futuristic looking electric truck.
It’s all part of a greater battle brewing in the automotive industry for electric vehicles.
GM plans to bring 20 such vehicles out by 2023 and build thousands of charging stations across the country.
Ford is also developing an electric pick-up truck.
