That arctic air mass is fully into the area now. It will be dangerously cold tonight with temperatures dipping well below freezing (could see records fall), so be sure to bring in your pets and plants and do not forget to insulate pipes. It will still be quite windy overnight with gusts up to 25 mph possible. Brrr!

We’ll enjoy lots of sunshine Wednesday, but remain cold as highs only reach the upper 40s to low 50s. Much of the area will see temps back below freezing Wednesday night, so another warning (or watch) could be issued. Highs and lows will get warmer as we approach the weekend, but still remain below the norm.

High pressure takes over and we’ll stay dry Wednesday into Thursday before another front pushes through and adds rain back into the forecast Thursday night into Friday.

Keep smiling,
