Brief Warm-up then Cold!
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend so get outdoors and enjoy it. High pressure along with lots of sunshine will keep us dry all the way through Monday and it will get warmer as the weekend progresses. Daytime highs could reach 70 on Veterans Day.
All eyes are on a very strong cold front heading our way that should pass through by late Monday. It will bring showers Monday night into Tuesday. Behind that front comes the coldest air of the season as a blast of frigid arctic air will filter in. By Tuesday, there is a good chance our highs may not get out of the 40s for a good portion of the viewing area. Overnight lows will try to dip below freezing. With moisture on the ground, a Freeze Watch or even a Warning will likely will be issued Tuesday and maybe Wednesday nights.
Highs and lows will stay well below the norm all the way through next weekend.
