Dry & Mild then Wet & Chilly

We are in the wake of a front that has pushed through the area, but this one is not cooling us down. It will reinforce dry conditions Wednesday and Thursday although we could see cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Thursday night into Friday morning, another cold front will push through. This one will be stronger giving us a chance for scattered showers Thursday night into Friday morning. By early Friday afternoon, the rain should move out as cooler air spreads across the region. Some areas may not get out of the 50s Friday and Saturday with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.

As we fast forward to the early part of next week, a big arctic blast of cold air is anticipated to funnel in behind another cold front by late Monday that could bring daytime highs down into the 40s Tuesday and Wednesday with lows in the low to upper 30s.
