Showers and Isolated Thunderstorms Through Halloween

Some of the area had a steady rain today and we’re not done yet. Showers and isolated thunderstorms remain in the forecast all the way through Thursday night. Not anticipating any severe or even strong storms, but we’ll have to keep an eye out for any changes especially on Halloween. Right now, we’re looking okay in terms of that. Rainfall totals through Friday morning could reach 2 to 2.5″ in isolated spots.

A cold front approaching from the west will push through Thursday night into Friday morning.  We can expect much nicer weather behind it.  Drier conditions and cooler temperatures move in Friday through weekend. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 60s with nighttime lows in the low 40s. We could see 30s in some areas, too!

Kids, your trick or treat forecast is still not looking all that great. Sorry about that. Still going with a 40% chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. If the cold front sweeps through quicker, hopefully the rain will exit fast enough so you can get your trick or treating in. It will still be quite soggy, though. Ugh.

Keep smiling,
