NOAA: September 2019 Ties For Hottest September On Record
SEPTEMBER 2019 TIED AS HOTTEST ON RECORD FOR PLANET
(CNN) – September 2019 was a scorcher!
Last month tied with 2015 as the hottest September on record.
That’s according to a report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The average temperature for September across the U.S. was 68 degrees.
NOAA scientists also found wetter-than-normal conditions on the west coast, northern plains and great lakes.
but there were record dry conditions across the south.
