Thursday & Friday= Awesome Weather! (Weekend= Not So Much)
We are now in the wake of a cold front, so get ready for some fantastic weather!
We’ll wake up to temperatures in the mid to upper 40s Thursday and Friday morning as the colder air settles in. Sunshine will blanket the area during the afternoon hours as highs top out in the upper 60s to low 70s over the next two days. We’ll stay dry, too.
Different story for the weekend.
Just offshore of the coast of southern Mexico, a broad area of low pressure has a decent chance to become better organized over the next 48 hours while moving northeast into the Gulf. It has the potential to become a tropical storm. If so, we’ll be saying hello to Nestor. This system will push rain into our region Saturday and Sunday with over 2″ of rainfall possible.
We’re not done there in the rain department. A cold front pushing through Tuesday will bring a chance for more showers and even thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday before pleasant weather returns the middle part of next week.
