Still Warm and Rain-Free

A “cold” front made its way through our area yesterday, not bringing much of a change to the air mass and only very isolated showers. We’ll see that chance of showers remaining for today with highs in the middle to upper 80s throughout the area. Lows will be in the 60s. Rain chances will be even less the remainder of the week with highs in the 85-90 range and lows 63-68.

A stronger cold front will approach the area to begin the weekend. While rain chances will be small as with the latest cold front, the air mass will be much more forceful behind it. Cooler temperatures will overspread the area for the latter part of the weekend into early next week, with our first widespread 50s for low temperatures likely coming Sunday morning. It would not be out of the question for a few outlying rural parts of our viewing area to dip into the upper 40s! Highs will moderate a tad but will still be in the 80-85 degree range.
