Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate next up for No. 8 Auburn

The No. 8 Auburn men’s golf team is set for its second tournament of the fall when it travels to Vestavia Hills, Ala. for the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, Oct. 7-8. The annual event takes place at Old Overton Country Club, a par-70 course that spans 7,209 yards.

“We are excited about the opportunity to return to the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate at Old Overton Club,” head coach Nick Clinard said. “It’s a fantastic golf course and the tournament field is outstanding. The guys are playing well, and I know they are looking forward to trying to win a team title this week.”

The two-day event features the first two rounds on Monday with the final 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday.

The Tigers have had success in the past at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, logging team titles in 2010 and 2016.
