It’s About to Feel Like Fall, Y’all!

Ready for Fall weather? It’s almost here!

We’re in the wake of a cold front. This is the weaker of two, but it does kick start the cooling process. We’ll also have cooler air coming in from the Northeast that will help bring temperatures down across the weekend, too.

A second stronger cold front comes through Monday/Monday night and this one will finally usher Fall weather into the Chattahoochee Valley and the Plains. Next week’s highs will be in upper 70s to low 80s with overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Enjoy!

As for rain, not much is expected although the area will see daily isolated showers over the next several days. The colder air from the Northeast that I mentioned above will suppress most of the shower development for the weekend, but we’ll have a better chance at thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday as the second cold front rolls through. A few strong storms definitely possible. Something to keep an eye on.

Keep smiling,
