GM Has Lost $600M, Thousands Impacted By Strike

GENERAL MOTORS LOSES MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, THOUSANDS OF WORKERS IMPACTED BY STRIKE

(CNN) – $600 million!

That’s how much one consulting firm says General Motors will soon lose in profits by week’s end because of an ongoing strike.

The Anderson Economic Group warns GM could lose $90-million a day if the strike continues.

Members of the United Automobile Workers union have not been working for three weeks now.

But GM says the company’s bottom line isn’t the only thing being hit hard by the strike.

The automaker reports more than 9,200 workers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico are being impacted by the picket lines.
