A Sizzling Thursday
Different day, same heat. Hang in there… cooler highs and lows are coming.
Eyeballing record highs Thursday and Friday as high pressure remains quite strong at the surface and above. This will finally weaken as we get into the weekend when cold front #1 moves through on Friday. The heat will slowly start to retreat Saturday and even more so on Sunday aided by a wedge of cooler air sliding down the eastern side of the Appalachians. We may also see decent cloud cover and isolated showers to help bring temperatures down a bit, too.
Cold front #2 is the “big show” in terms of the cooler temperatures. This much stronger front will bring fall weather to us all next week. Looks for highs in the 70s and 80s and lows in the 60s and some 50s. Fantabulous!
