Record Heat Wednesday through Friday

We could see record heat Wednesday through Friday as high pressure continues to influence the unwavering weather pattern that hasn’t budged for what seems like forever! Daytime highs and nighttime lows will run 10-16 degrees above average through Friday with the humidity staying uncomfortable through that stretch.

Two cold fronts will push through our area starting at the end of the week. The first will be a weak front rolling through Friday that could give us a few isolated showers and bring daytime highs down a bit. The second front will be the one we’ve been longing for. It pushes through by Monday bringing much cooler highs and lows as early as Sunday and will stay with us through at least the middle of next week.

Drought conditions will continue to deepen as not much rain is expected although daily isolated showers are possible especially Friday through early next week. The double cold fronts could trigger that rain.

Keep smiling,
