Another Toasty Tuesday
That ridge of high pressure will flatten a bit today as it traps moist air under it. This will give us a slight chance for isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two this afternoon.
The weather pattern stays pretty stationary this week as hot and mainly dry conditions will continue to dominate with highs and lows running 10-14 degrees above average through Friday. Humidity will be sticky to uncomfortable this week, too.
A cold front out of the northwest looks to push through the area Friday and bring a long awaited cooldown. Daytime highs should top out in the mid 80s with nighttime lows dipping to the mid to upper 60s by Sunday. Out ahead of the front, isolated showers are possible Friday and we’ll hold on to a slight chance for rain through the weekend.
