Warm Days, Cool Nights for the Weekend
TURNING HOT AGAIN NEXT WEEK
The sunshine will be out in full force this weekend although we could see a few clouds mix in from time to time. No rain, of course.
Saturday and Sunday highs will hit the mid to upper 80s with lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Humidity will be low adding to the pleasant conditions.
As we welcome Fall early Monday morning, daytime highs will rebound and begin to shoot right back up into the 90s. Expecting afternoon temperatures to run about 4-9 degrees above the norm next week with nighttime temps close to normal or a few degrees above. Humid air returns, too. Guh!
We’ve been aching for rain as drought conditions increase across the region. Unfortunately, high pressure will continue to keep us rain-free through the first part of next week. A weak cold front will move into the area Tuesday and could trigger a few isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm Tuesday into Wednesday, but the majority of us likely won’t see a drop of rain.
Don’t forget, Fall arrives Monday morning at 3:50AM EDT.
