Warm Days and Fantastic Nights Through the Weekend
SEASONAL HIGHS/BELOW NORMAL LOWS
We’ve been dwelling in the 90s for much of September… until today when we stalled at 88°. This is the first time we haven’t hit the 90s since September 1st when we also hit 88°. Afternoons will be less humid and warm (mid to upper 80s) and nights will be cool to chilly (upper 50s to mid 60s) through Sunday. Enjoy!
Unfortunately, the cooldown doesn’t last. Daytime highs will run 4-9 degrees above normal next week with nightly lows near seasonal or a few degrees above. Not the start to Fall a lot of folks were hoping for.
We’ll be staying dry through the weekend and into the first part of next week. A weak cold front will slide in Tuesday, become stationary and then exit Wednesday. This front could trigger a few isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two Tuesday into Wednesday.
