Tuesday Heat, Cooler Around the Corner

Abnormally hot, but no records

Staying hot and dry today.  We won’t hit the record for the daytime high of 104 degrees set way on back in 1927, but temperatures will push into the upper 90s… a good 10 degrees above where it should be this time of the year. Do not expect any rain.

Highs will hit the mid 90s on Wednesday out ahead of a wedge front that could kick up a few isolated showers. Most of us won’t see any rain, though. After the wedge passes, daytime temperatures return to more seasonal levels with overnight lows several degrees below the norm. In fact, some spots could see the upper 50s Friday morning.

With cooler temps and lower humidity, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings will be quite enjoyable. A more south to southwest flow on the back end of the weekend will push daytime highs back into the low 90s Sunday into next week.

TODAY- Sunny. Highs in the upper 90s. Heat index near 100.

TONIGHT- Clear. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW- Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs in the mid 90s.

Keep smiling,
