A Toasty Tuesday, Cooldown Coming

ABNORMALLY HOT ON TUESDAY, BUT NO RECORD HEAT

More of the same on Tuesday as we’ll stay hot and dry. It won’t be record heat, but it’ll still try to push up to 10+ degrees above the norm.

Highs retreat a tad on Wednesday topping out in the mid 90s as a wedge front moves through the area. The wedge of cold air could kick up a few isolated showers, but most of us won’t see any rain. The big impact will be the cooler temperatures that take place behind the front.

Daytime highs return to more seasonal levels with overnight lows several degrees below the norm Thursday through Saturday. With cooler air and lower humidity, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning will be quite enjoyable. Some areas could dip into the upper 50s across those nights.

Temperatures will warm up yet again starting Sunday as they push back into the low to mid 90s through at least the middle of next week.
