Triple Digit Heat this Weekend
It’s a very nice start this morning as we enjoy cooler temps and comfy humidity. We are still in a dry and hot pattern as even drier air filters in. No rain over the next few days, but isolated showers return to the forecast Sunday into next week.
Daytime highs through the weekend will run 5-8 degrees above average and nighttime lows will be a few degrees above the norm, too. Some areas could see the low 100s for actual temps during the afternoon Saturday and Sunday.
Hurricane Dorian is pushing along the the Outer Banks. Dangerous storm surge up to 7 feet and rainfall up to 15 inches could cause life-threatening flash flooding.
TODAY- Sunny. Highs in the low to mid 90s.
TONIGHT- Clear. Lows in the upper 60s.
TOMORROW- Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 90s.
