Auburn soccer players Treva Aycock, Bri Folds and Alyssa Malonson were named to the Southeastern Conference Soccer Preseason Watch List announced by the league office Tuesday.

It marks the third straight year Folds has been named to the preseason watch list and the second straight for Malonson. All three honorees also earned All-SEC recognition following the regular season a year ago.

Aycock was named Second Team All-SEC after her first season on The Plains in 2018. The Furman transfer ranked second on the team in goals (seven), points (20) and game-winning goals (three), while also ranking third in assists (six). Aycock played and started in all 20 contests and led the way as 34 of her 59 shots were on frame.

Folds earned a plethora of honors following the 2018 season, including being named First Team All-SEC, United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Southeast Region and United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American. The Lakeland, Florida, native led the team and logged career highs in goals (nine) and points (25), ranking tied for fifth in the SEC in both categories. Six of her nine goals scored were game-winners, which matched the single-season program record in the category.

Entering her final season in an Auburn uniform, Folds continues to climb a number of career records including assists (22), shots (178) and game-winning goals (nine). She also ranks just outside the top 10 in career goals (18) and points (58).

Like Aycock, Malonson was also named Second Team All-SEC after leading the team and ranking third in the league in assists (eight). The defender played a vital role in helping the Tigers pitch nine shutouts on the season, which ranked tied for fourth in program history. Malonson, who has played and started in all 40 matches in her Auburn career, earned the team’s Iron Woman award after logging 1,822 minutes of action in 2018.
