LOST: Oppressive Summer Humidity
If Found, Contact WLTZ First Weather
Thunderstorms and oppressive humidity remains bottled up across the Florida peninsula at this hour. While somewhat higher humidity will be returning to the Chattahoochee Valley over the next several days, it will be a very slow process. In the meantime, rain-free weather is the name of this game, and it is time to get outside to enjoy it. A stray afternoon thunderstorm cannot be ruled out later this weekend or early next week, but it’s primarily the middle and latter stages of next week that appear to be more active in the thunderstorm department.
Temperatures will tip the scales close to 90 degrees each afternoon, but with lower than average humidity, the heat index will stay well away from 100! Enjoy.
