Rashaan Evans Takes Kids on Shopping Spree
TENNESSEE TITANS LINEBACKER RASHAAN EVANS TAKES KIDS ON SHOPPING SPREE AT DICK'S SPORTING GOODS
Former Auburn high and current Tennessee Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans was back in his hometown today.
Taking kids from the Dream Foundation, Lee County Youth Development Center and Ward II Academy on a shopping spree at the Dicks Sporting Goods in Opelika.
Each kid received a gift card and cold hard cash to meet all their back to school needs.
Rashaan also took some time to sign autographs and take pictures with everybody.
This is the sixth event Rashaan has done in East Alabama this year and the opportunity to give back never gets old to him.
“It feels good man, anytime I get to come to my hometown and be around some of these younger kids and just have the chance to give back, I think that’s the most important part of my career,” says Evans. “Being able to have the opportunity to get out here and get some new gear for themselves to not only use just for school, but anything outside of that. That’s why I’m here”
