Mostly Dry Monday, Soggy Tuesday
Brief Cool Down Coming
Seasonal temps on tap today as we stay mostly dry but humid with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible especially in the afternoon.
A rare July cold front moves through the area Tuesday bringing an increase in the chance for rain and thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday. Depending on the timing of the passage of the front, we may dodge any possible strong or even severe weather, but we will need to keep an eye on it. The front looks to sink out of Georgia by Wednesday night before becoming stationary over Florida.
Drier and cooler air moves in behind Tuesday’s front knocking daily highs down into the mid to upper 80s and nightly lows into the mid 60s to around 70 through the weekend. Humidity will also ease up quite a bit before sneaking back in as we get into Saturday.
TODAY- Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon under partly sunny skies. Highs in the low 90s.
TONIGHT- Scattered showers and thunderstorms under mostly cloudy skies. Lows in the low 70s.
TOMORROW- Showers and thunderstorms likely under mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the mid 80s.
