CVCC New Student Experience
Chattahoochee Valley Community College is offering the New Student Experience. Their faculty and staff help guide future students through a virtual tour, financial aid and more.
Particularly, with financial aid and registration, those processes can seem overwhelming at times, so they provide one-on-one attention to help ease that anxiety.
This event is for every type of new student. A recent high school graduate, a military spouse looking for a career to supplement their household income, or someone looking to advance their current career.
At the New Student Experience, the staff has resources to accommodate both the traditional and nontraditional student at CVCC. With online course work and flexible schedules, they have something to fit your lifestyle.
According to the CVCC staff, you can receive an associate degree or certificate in programs such as Fire Science, Medical Assisting, and Criminal Justice, just to name a few. In addition, students often times don’t realize that most CVCC classes easily transfer to a four-year university, and if you live within a 50-mile radius of the campus, there is no out-of-state fee.
Students planning to attend CVCC this Fall, complete a College application online and register for New Student Experience now by visiting the College’s website at www.cv.edu.
There are four opportunities to attend: July 11, 19, 25, or 26. Fall classes begin August 19.
