Mostly Dry Weekend, Heat Cranks Up Next Week

4th of July Forecast Looks Good... So Far

The upper ridge looks to dominate the area over the next several days, so not looking at much rainfall during the next 8 days. Although a drier airmass still blankets our area, flow in from the southeast will try to introduce a little more moisture today. This, plus the daytime heat and some instability, could allow for afternoon showers and thunderstorms, but only isolated in nature through early next week.

Highs and lows will stay close to normal through the weekend before daytime temperatures heat up next week.
