Sergeant Eric T. Wilson entered the army in 2010 as a private to train as a unit supply specialist.

He rose up through the ranks attending career enhancement schools such as the property book and the unit armorer course.

The logistical skills came in handy during a combat deployment in support of operation enduring freedom in Afghanistan.

He currently serves as supply sergeant for the 209th Military police detachment at Fort Benning.

Now Sergeant Eric Wilson has been selected as the Columbus Rotary Club’s soldier of the week.
