Kiwanis Club of Columbus Donates Bronze Statue to Area Citizens

Mayor Skip Henderson and Kiwanis Club of Columbus Centennial Committee Chairman, Charlie Jarrell, and Club President Ronnie Bell will present remarks about the unveiling and donation of a bronze statue to the citizens of Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley.
The bronze statue, Reading is Fun, celebrates 100 years of service from 1919 –2019 to the children in our community by the Kiwanis Club of Columbus.
The Club hopes it will serve as a reminder to the community that there is nothing more important than our children. The statue of a woman reading to a group of children highlights these principals.
