Target Stores Hit By Outage For 2nd Day

TARGET HAS MORE TECHNICAL PROBLEMS IT SAYS WERE UNRELATED TO SATURDAY'S OUTAGE

(CNN) – For the second day in a row; more glitches at Target.

Target is apologizing to customers after registers shut down across the country Sunday.

For more than an hour, many Target stores weren’t able to take credit cards.

The company blamed a data center at NCR, a vendor that processes payments.

Target said the issue was fixed Sunday night.

But Sunday’s problems came a day after Saturday’s outage when computer issues caused long lines and prevented customers from being able to check out.

Target said Sunday’s incident was unrelated to Saturday’s issue.

The company says no payment information was compromised at any time.

CNN could not reach NCR for a comment Sunday evening.
