Don’t Forget the ‘Brella Today

A Few Strong Storms Possible This Afternoon

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are on tap for today with some storms potentially becoming strong with gusty winds the biggest concern. Zonal flow is expected to continue to jet across the region through the rest of the week, so will keep daily showers and thunderstorms in the forecast until at least Friday.

Not looking at any widespread severe weather, but Thursday could be the day those storms are triggered as a short wave of energy pulses through. Once the short wave passes, we can expect only isolated showers and a few storms for the weekend as of now.

Daily highs and lows will continue to hover within several degrees of the norm.
