CSU Names Matt Houser as the Women’s Basketball Head Coach

HOUSER COACHED UNDER ANITA HOWARD AS AN ASSITANT LAST SEASON

The Columbus State women’s basketball program didn’t have to look too far in finding their new head coach.

Matt Houser was the assistant to former head coach Anita Howard last season and now becomes the fourth head coach of the women’s basketball team.

Today he was introduced under his new title and talked on how he wants to keep the winning culture alive for this program saying, “previously when I was at Azusa Pacific, our mindset was continuously being the number one in the region, winning the conference tournament, you know cutting down nets, so the style and everything all of that is going to be expected and for the players that want to join and come in, that’s going to be the standard going forward.”
