Ups And Downs Of Thunderstorms

Muggy Too

Muggy weather is the mainstay of this forecast.  And, while it will be hot more days than not, there will be respites.   Those respites will come in the from of cooling thunderstorms, so keep an eye to the sky and give yourself time to reach your destination safely.

An uptick in afternoon and evening thunderstorm activity is expected Tuesday, so many areas may have daytime high temperatures just south of 90 degrees.   When it’s raining cats and dogs, it will be no better than the 70s.   Little to no wind to kick start Wednesday will lead to areas of fog; otherwise a much less active day should be had before another system arrives with more thunderstorms Thursday.

The hottest part of this forecast likely coincides with this weekend.  The heat index will even peak in excess of 100!  Meanwhile, little to no thunderstorm activity is expected to keep your plans, but stay hydrated, and stay safe.
