Sunny and Dry Friday, Summertime Pattern Next Week
LOW HUMIDITY TODAY
High pressure continues to build over the area today as daytime temperatures remain several degrees below the norm although we may get a bit warmer than yesterday. We’ll be rain-free with comfortable humidity this afternoon, but that will change as we hit the weekend. Weekend highs and lows will push back up to around seasonal. We’ll stay dry Saturday, but high pressure slides off the east coast allowing a southerly flow to bring moisture back across the region, so adding isolated showers and a few thunderstorms back in the forecast starting Sunday.
Next week will see a summerlike pattern with a more zonal flow meaning each day there will be a chance for afternoon showers and pop-up thunderstorms. Highs and lows look to stay around seasonal.
TODAY- Sunny with highs in the mid 80s.
TONIGHT- Clear with lows in the mid 60s.
SATURDAY- Partly sunny with highs around 90.
SATURDAY NIGHT- Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s.
SUNDAY- Isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm under partly sunny skies. Highs around 90.
