Auburn Baseball Returns to the Plains As Regional Champions

AUBURN BASEBALL RECEIVED A WARM WELCOME BACK TO THE PLAINS ON MONDAY

The Auburn Tigers returned home Monday morning following an emotional and exciting weekend sweeping the Atlanta regional to go back to back as NCAA regional champs.

Plenty of fans, Gus Malzahn, Bruce Pearl and Aubie all lined up in front of Plainsman Park to congratulate the team.

With the win Sunday night over Georgia tech, the tigers are super regional bound.

This is only the second time in school history that Auburn has made it to the round of 16 in both basketball and baseball.

The last time that happened was in 1999.
