Higher Humidity Returns
Thunderstorms Later This Week
Hot weather hasn’t gone anywhere. However, the recent dip in humidity is now a recent memory. The combination of heat and higher humidity along with several other variables, such as amount of sun, lack of wind, etc will lead to heat indexes over 100 Tuesday afternoon. Yikes!
A stray thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening hours will finally develop by midweek. Meanwhile, a large storm over the Desert Southwest will slowly drift eastward, finally allowing for a uptick in the thunderstorms later this week. These storms will also erase the high heat across the region. Stormy weather, fortunate or not, will hand around this weekend into early next week. Stay tuned and stay cool.
