911 Operator’s Revenge Porn Post Prompts Felony Charges

Testimony: Heather Henslee Used Position To Share Confidential Info

A Columbus 911 Operator is accused of tapping into secret law enforcement computer systems to obtain information on her husband and his family members.

Heather Henslee is facing multiple felony charges including Communicating Criminal Record Information Under False Pretense.

According to court records the 911 operator and her husband have both been on the wrong side of the law during a volatile and sometimes violent relationship, each accusing the other of abusive behavior.  Both are facing current charges related to domestic incidents but it was Heather Henslee’s taunting on social media, posting a nude picture of her estranged husband on a pontoon boat mocking the size of his genitals that was a bridge too far and prompted the latest charges.

Henslee waived her appearance in Recorder’s Court and testimony was heard in her absence.

Distribution of explicit content on social media is a mere Misdemeanor and though embarrassing didn’t initially warrant a lot of attention from investigators.

So the 911 Operator’s estranged husband started documenting their cell phone exchanges which included text messages and screen shots.

A police investigator testified the cell phone records indicated Heather Henslee was doing the taunting and using her position to access confidential information about him, his brother and mother.

Screen shots were taken from the National Crime Information Center, a confidential FBI database accessible only to public safety.

Using the information for personal use and to potentially harm others warranted the felony charge of Fraudulent Business Practices Using The Internet.

Henslee is also charged with three counts of Communicating Criminal Record Information Under False Pretense.

The Judge was not amused with the misuse of those privileged computer systems and issued a $100,000 bond for the most serious charge.

Judge Julius Hunter also banned Henslee from using the Internet if she makes bail.

According to jail records, Heather Henslee remains in the Muscogee County Jail on bonds totaling more than $200,000 for all charges.
