A Few Showers Possible Today and Friday
A BIT COOLER
Hot and dry again today, but that ridge of high pressure that has had a strangle hold on the area finally begins to loosen its grip and head to the south as a front moves toward the region from out of the west. More of a zonal flow is expected through the weekend, so daytime highs will retreat just a bit, but will still stay several degrees above the norm.
The front looks to slide in by Friday, but rain chances are not looking too promising due to the lack of meaningful moisture. Still, I’ll hold on to a slight chance today and Friday. Could even see a thunderstorm pop up.
The weekend should stay mostly dry.
TODAY- Partly cloudy with spotty afternoon showers. Highs in the mid 90s.
TONIGHT- Partly cloudy with lows in the low 70s.
TOMORROW- Partly cloudy with a slight chance for showers. Highs in the low 90s.
