Hot… “Cool Down” Coming

Temps staying above the norm

If you liked Tuesday’s weather, you’ll be getting those same conditions again today. We may see a slight dip in the daytime highs, but not by much… if any.

Looking ahead, the ridge that’s been keeping the hot and dry weather socked in for our area will start to sag southward and allow for a more westerly flow. This will try to help drop our daily highs down a bit as we cruise toward the weekend, but we’ll still be in the lower 90s.

A frontal boundary will slide toward the area Thursday evening into Friday, but looks to stay just north of us. Latest models indicate a lesser chance of rain with this front. Still, it will bring a slight chance on Friday at least.
