Hundreds Pack Downtown Auburn Showing their Support for Officer Buechner

Hundreds came out to line the streets of Downtown Auburn.

The long solemn funeral procession passed through the city headed to the cemetery.

Among them were veterans handing out flags to people eagerly accepting them and waving them to show their support of the men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe.

Some people even came from other cities to honor the fallen Auburn officer.

An estimated 3,000 officers joined in on the funeral procession.

Even more people were there to greet the procession as it arrived at Town Creek Cemetery where Officer Buechner was buried.

Some of them saluting the hearse as it passed them.

Fire fighters parked outside the cemetery with the American flag flying up above.
