Officer Webb Sistrunk, who was injured in Sunday night’s shooting, has been downgraded from the intensive care unit to critical care.
Wednesday he was visited by his K9 partner, Leon.
The Sistrunk family thanks everyone for their continued prayers and asks people to keep the Buechner and Elliott families in their prayers, too.
Officer Sistrunk was shot in the right shoulder.
He was airlifted to Piedmont Columbus hospital where he will continue to undergo a number of medical procedures.
Officer Sistrunk has been with Auburn police for eight years.
